# hypeoldu

My Turkish newsletter and blog about media, tech and hype, from 2017 to 2018. 106 posts, still online.

hypeoldu was my Turkish newsletter and blog about media, tech and hype, from August 2017 to March 2018. I wrote 106 posts in a playful tone, turning media news into short takes, and it actually found a nice little audience.

But the quick notes I used to write in an hour or two slowly turned into essays that took two full days. I was collecting news, bookmarking, thinking, writing, hating it and writing again, until a thing I started for fun got too big for me to handle.

So I burned out and let it go. It's still online though, and the topics haven't changed much since then.
